Keep the housing, replace the lamp. LED retrofit lighting lets you convert metal halide and HPS high bays, shoeboxes, floods, and wall packs without a full fixture swap. These mogul-base lamps wire ballast-bypass / AC direct, so you remove a common failure point and cut energy use at the same time.
Which retrofit lamp should I use?

Corn lamps: 360 degree output for open high bays and post tops.
