For emergency operation, the integrated rechargeable 1.2V Ni-Cd battery automatically activates during power failure and delivers at least 90 minutes of illumination. As a result, the fixture helps maintain safe evacuation routes while supporting UL 924 emergency lighting compliance requirements.
The advanced LED technology consumes only 1 watt of power while providing excellent visibility and reduced maintenance compared to older incandescent or fluorescent exit signs.
