LED Strip Lights in 2 ft, 4 ft, and 8 ft
Commercial LED strip lights replace 2-lamp fluorescent strips in warehouses, workshops, corridors, and storage aisles. Length is the first choice. A 4 ft housing covers the most common fluorescent row. A 2 ft housing fills a short run or a closet. An 8 ft housing covers a long aisle with one fixture instead of two 4 ft units.
Three Westgate families cover that range:
- LSS high-lumen strips with selectable wattage, in white or black on most lengths
- LSL strips in the same footprint as a 2-lamp fluorescent strip, in fixed kelvin or selectable CCT
- LSN narrow strips for aisles and task rows where a full-width housing is too wide
High-Lumen LED Strip Lights
LSS LED strip lights are the high-output choice. Wattage is selectable, voltage is 120-277V, and dimming is 0-10V. Housings are linkable, damp-location rated, and listed around 130 to 135 lumens per watt.
- 2 ft LED strip light: selectable 15/17/20/25W, up to 3250 lumens, white or black
- 4 ft 34W LED strip light: selectable 24/27/30/34W, up to 4420 lumens
- 4 ft 46W LED strip light: selectable 29/34/39/46W, up to 5980 lumens, white or black
- 8 ft LED strip light: selectable 55/65/75/90W, up to 11745 lumens, white or black
LED Strip Lights That Match a Fluorescent Footprint
LSL LED strip lights use the same length and width as a common 2-lamp fluorescent strip, so a one-for-one swap does not move the mounting points. Fixed models are 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K. Selectable models switch CCT on the fixture. The 8 ft high-lumen family is the brighter 8 ft option.
- 2 ft LED strip light: 20W fixed kelvin models around 2100 lumens, plus a selectable model
- 4 ft LED strip light: fixed kelvin or selectable CCT, fluorescent-strip footprint
- 8 ft LED strip light: 80W, fixed 4000K or 5000K, or selectable CCT
- 8 ft high-lumen LED strip light: 84W, up to about 13200 lumens on the selectable model
Narrow LED Strip Lights
LSN LED strip lights are the slim housing for indoor aisles and task rows. They are IP20 indoor fixtures, not damp-location strips. Use them where the wider LSS or LSL housing will not fit.
- 2 ft narrow LED strip light: 20W, about 2600 lumens
- 4 ft narrow LED strip light: selectable 25/30/40W, up to 5200 lumens
- 8 ft narrow LED strip light: selectable 50/64/80W, up to 10400 lumens
LED Shop Lights with a Plug-In Cord
An LED shop light is the plug-in version of a linear shop fixture. It does not need a hardwired driver or a separate cable kit. The 4 ft LED shop light is 40W, 5500 lumens, 4000K, and about 135 lumens per watt. A 5 ft cord plugs into 120V. An 18 in. pull chain switches it. A 6 ft suspension cable is in the box. The housing is about 43.3 in. long, IP44, and ETL and DLC listed.
Shop wings add side reflectors to a 4 ft LSL strip when you want a wider throw from a hardwired strip. Use two sets on an 8 ft strip. Shop lights and shop wings are both in LED shop lights.
Suspension Kits, Wire Guards, and Brackets for LED Strip Lights
Hardwired LED strip lights can mount to the ceiling or hang from cable. The 10 ft suspension kit is the shared canopy-and-cable option. Shorter 6 ft canopy kits, with and without a power cord, are in the same LED strip lights category, along with T-bar clips.
Wire guards and alignment brackets are series-specific. LSL guards and brackets fit LSL housings. LSN guards fit LSN housings. LSS brackets join LSS housings end to end. A 4 ft guard is also the pair used on an 8 ft narrow strip. Order the guard and bracket that match the series, not a universal part.
Emergency-battery and occupancy-sensor options are factory installs. They are quoted per fixture and are not stock SKUs on the product page.
LED Strip Light or LED Shop Light
Choose LED strip lights when the row is hardwired, the voltage is 120-277V, or the job is a fluorescent strip replacement in a warehouse, shop, or corridor. Choose an LED shop light when the circuit is a 120V outlet and you want a pull chain and a cord. The shop light includes its hanging cable. The strip lights use a separate suspension kit when they are not screwed to the ceiling.
Start with the 4 ft length if the existing row is 4 ft fluorescent. Step up to 8 ft when one housing should cover a longer bay. Use the narrow series only when the wide housing does not fit.
